Logo protection work for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games launched around China

May 7 (xinhuanet) The State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People’s Republic of China printed and issued the Special Action Plan of Protecting the Logos of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games. The plan required that a special action would be taken in two phases to protect the logos of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, severely strike illegal use of the logos and effectively safeguard the intellectual property of the Youth Olympic Games from May to August.


From now on, especially on the 100-day countdown and during the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, the nation-wide industrial and commercial circle will carry out intensive protective measures to the logos of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce affirmed that supervisions would be implemented to inspect how the protective works are made in some areas during the Games.


On May 4, more than 140 trademark monitoring and management personnel from around the China went to Shenzhen to jointly discuss the protections of the logos of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
