(BEIJING, May 16) -- Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) met with John Stanhope, visiting Australian Capital Territory Chief Minister on Wednesday.

The two sides exchanged views on the publicity of the preparatory work for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and matters related to the Games' torch relay.

On April 26, 2007, BOCOG announced the planned route of the torch relay which includes Canberra, capital of Australia.
