Sport Career:

Began swimming training in Shanghai Sports Club in 1978, already impressively a swimming talent in her youth age, Yang had broken national records for different age group on 18 occasions. She was selected as a member of the Shanghai municipal swimming team in 1984, and joined the national team for intensified training in 1986.
