DOHA, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- It seemed weather was on Qatar's side as heavy rain fell again after the end of the Asian Games opening ceremony on Friday.

Rain poured down at the Khalifa Stadium as dancers and musicians performed in a warm-up to the opening ceremony. It turned into a drizzle in the beginning of the ceremony and stopped halfway in the 150-minute extravaganza.

A huge downpour reappeared after the ceremony, drenching spectators on their way home.
