Artificial lake at
One of artificial lakes surrounding the Beijing National Stadium, the main venue for the 2008 Olympic Games, was tested for water quality on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. According to CRI, Plants have also been grown beneath the water surface, aiming to purify the water. The National Stadium, also known as the bird's nest because of its unique design, is the main track and field stadium for the Olympics and will host the opening and closing ceremonies.
