Culture origins

A rubbing is the impression of the graphics, inscriptions or patterns of ancient bronzeware or stone tablets on a sheet of rice paper, which enables reproduction of the original pictorial and text content. The extraordinary form and force of expression of traditional rubbings have become a distinct form of Chinese art. When this form is applied to pictograms, the powerful contrast between black and white and the vivid beauty of the fluid shapes perfectly represent the passion and dynamism of the sports.
