Exhibition of photos on disabled persons' sports opens

(BEIJING, April 20) -- Over 130 photographs displaying the sport life of disabled persons in China was opened Friday.

Sponsored by the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and China Disabled Persons' Federation, the exhibition under the theme of "Struggles and Dreams" is to reflect how the disabled persons are striving to overcome difficulties in their daily lives and upgrade their sport records, with an aim to boost their spirit, better prepare them for the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2008 and encourage the majority of the people to help the weaker members of our society.
