General Principles

    1 The design of noise control should be launched from the start stage of construction design, at the same time, the design of tone and sound reinforcement should be started.

    2 The tone quality in the venue should be considered while designing.

    Master planning and design

    1 The engine room, such as pump room, air-condition engine room, boiler room and power distribution room, should be separate and far apart from the contest space and other service room. If possible, these rooms are to be centralized or located underground.

    2 The parking lot should be planned properly to ensure that the vehicles and relative equipments do not cause noise.

    3 Put the noise control into the planning of virescence, and make good use of vegetation to reduce the noise.

    4 During the operating time, the venue should be quiet enough and not cause noise pollution to the surrounding area.

    Noise control

    1 Main noise sources such as water pump, ventilator, air-condition and cooling tower as well as facilities during construction should choose low noise products certificated by relative national institutions.

    2 Effective measures of sound absorption, sound insulation, noise elimination and vibration damping should be adopted both in the course of facility equipment and in the facilities room so as to ensure that noise at boundary of industrial enterprises of the facility room accords with relative environmental standard.

    3 Outdoor noise source facilities may adopt economic and effective measures to reduce its effect to the environment as much as possible.

    4 Pipelines of ventilator and air-condition in the venues as well as affiliated rooms should be installed with noise elimination system. Meanwhile, it must be sure that ventilation is unobstructed and the air inlet and outlet accord with relative standard.

    5 Audience area should be separated with rooms those need silence such as VIP lounge. At the audience entrance as well as in the district with much ambulate, sound absorption and noise reduction should be adopted so as to ensure the environmental comfort even when the place is crowded.

    6 Rooms those have a high request of acoustic environment should be equipped with sound proof doors and windows. Besides, some sound absorption and noise reduction measures should be adopted according to the environmental noise condition.

    7 Strictly control the construction noise and prohibit it from annoying people.
