·Website looks for 2008 Honorary Visitors

Starting Monday, the official website of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, will enroll a total of 2008 Honorary Official Website Visitors as part of a campaign to mark the 500-day countdown to the Olympics.
The countdown falls on March 27. Any web user who sends their best wishes for the Olympics to the official website or the website of SOHU company will have the opportunity to become one of the official website's Honorary Visitors. The websites are designated to promote the countdown celebrations from March 5, 2007.

·High-tech vehicles to be used for security of Olympics

A multi-functional communications vehicle will be used for the security of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, a security official disclosed on Monday.
The vehicle, which looks plain but will combine the functions of radio and wire communications, as well as microwave image and satellite image transmissions, is expected to be capable to rush to any emergency site to provide all-round command and deployment assistance, said Liu Shaowu, director of the Security Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
