IOC president Rogge presents invitation letters to National Olympic Committees

(BEIJING, August 8) -- Tiananmen Square turned into a festival of jubilation Wednesday night as people from across China and from around the world gathered to celebrate the one-year countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

On the occasion of this grand ceremony, International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge presented Beijing 2008 Olympic Games invitation letters to various National Olympic Committees (NOCs).
