Post office at Olympic Tower opened (photos attached)

(BEIJING, August 8) -- On the occasion of the one-year countdown to the Beijing Olympic Games, the post office at the Olympic Tower has been officially opened.

A commemorative cover was issued by Beijing Stamp Company on August 8, 2007 to mark the event.

Since its trial operation began in April this year, the post office has provided quality services for 2,000 staff members of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG). It has given various kinds of domestic and international post services and put some 50 varieties of high-quality philatelic products on sale.
