(BEIJING, June 5) -- Liu Jingmin, vice-mayor of
Beijing and executive vice-president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the
Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) met with visiting Panasonic executive advisor
Yoichi Morishita on Tuesday.
Liu thanked Panasonic for its support to the Beijing Olympic Games and
expressed the hope that the cooperation between the two sides would continue to
deepen and make for successful Olympics.
Panasonic is a Worldwide Olympic Partner of the International Olympic
Committee. Mr. Morishita is former chairman of Matsushita Electric Industrial
Co. Ltd. (Panasonic).
