Support Services

Media Services is looking after such vital services as Accommodation, Accreditation, Transport, Rate Card, Catering provided by various BOCOG functional areas. Serving as a liaison point between media individuals or organizations and BOCOG service providers, Media Services provides direct advice and help for the functional areas to ensure that media needs are understood and met.

Volunteers

Media Services is also responsible for the Media Operations Specialist Volunteers Program. To recruit the best capable media volunteers, a special program has been initiated.

Updates and Information Delivery

Media Services will also deliver Media Operations' updates and information, through Internet, publications, the World Press Operations Briefing to be held in Beijing and meetings and venue tours with visiting media delegations. Inquiries and visits are welcome and our help will always be at hand over accredited media services information, visa application, meetings with BOCOG departments and officials and tours of venues, etc.
