Egypt wins women's 100m hurdle in under-21 Arab athletics

CAIRO, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Egypt grabbed the gold medal of the women's 100m hurdle at the 12th under-21 Arab track and field championship here on Thursday, MENA news agency reported.

Salma Emam Abul-Hasan came first in the race. Syria's Fadwa Ibrahim trailed second while Egyptian Nagla Khalifa finished third.

The four-day Arab Junior Athletics Championship, which began on Wednesday, drew some 500 Arab athletes representing 15 Arab nations.
